VSU records 96% pass percentage in PG results
Vikrama Simhapuri University PG results of both the University College and the affiliated colleges were released by the Vice-Chancellor in the Administration building on 26th July 2011. He said that 96.6% has been recorded in the University campus college and 90% results were recorded in the PG results of affiliated colleges. In the University campus college, MBA I semester, MBA Travel Management I semester, M.Sc Organic Chemistry, MSW I semester, MBA IV semester, MCA IV semester, M.A English IV semester results were released. While the II semester results of M.Sc Biochemistry, M.Sc Computer Science, M.A English, M.Sc Microbiology, M.Com, M.Ed, M.F.M, M.A Telugu of the affiliated colleges were released on the occasion. Looking at the results objectively, Prof. Rao said that the results are a fine amalgam of the conscious efforts of the members of faculty and the hard work of the students. He said that the results also reflect the academic preparedness and the extra edge that the students were offered through extension lectures by the experts at regular intervals. He said that girls as usual fared well in the overall results.
In the University college, M.Sc Organic Chemistry III semester, MSW I semester, MCA IV semester, M.A English IV semester recorded 100% results. While MBA I semester, MBA Tourism Management I semester, MBA IV semester recorded 95.3%, 70%, 93.7% respectively.
In the Affiliated colleges, M.Ed and M.A Telugu, M.Sc Biochemistry, M.F.M got 99.1% and 90.2%, 92%, 90.4% respectively while M.Sc Computer Science, M.A English, M.Sc Microbiology, M.Com, got 80%, 86.7%, 85.7%, 80. 4% respectively.
Prof. V. Narayana Reddy, Registrar, viewing the results as the continuation of the University’s quality concerns said that these results are the reflection of the clear vision of the University in its march to take the academic standards to the next level.
Prof. T. Sudha, Dean, CDC, Dr. Ch. Venkatrayulu, Coordinator of Examinations, staff of the University Examination Section were present on the occasion.
