Personal Touch
A Person born in a simple agricultural family grew inch by inch to the heights. He is one of the most important persons of our university. There is no wrong in it if we call him as a legend. He has been working sincerely for the development of our university. His experiences taught us not only subject but also a wide knowledge. He is none other than our Registrar Sir Prof. V. Narayana Reddy. Some students made a request to place an article about our sir in our blog. Hence we placed it and hope the readers may like it.

In between 2001-2007: Worked as Associate Professor on Promotion. At this time, he also worked as dean to SV University Resources Department.
2007: Worked as Professor at SVU
2008 – till now: has been working as Registrar to Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU)
Working Nature: Easily mingle with all the subordinates and worked hard for the overall development of the university.
Unforgettable Moments: I wanted to do my P.hd on Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams. For this, I spent most of my time on Tirumala and researched about the piligrims, facilities and others. I had submitted my thesis on this in 1988 and obtained my P.hd. This was an Unfrogettable moment throughout my life and of course being appointed as an Assistant Professor in SVU at which I had studied is also an unforgettable moment for me.

Secured Gold Medal while Studying M.A at SVU
1988: Award from an International meeting held in America on the issue Old age and India
1999: Award for submitting a thesis on Temples – Social necessities for comparing a 400 old aged church in London to Tirumala
2003: Best Researcher Award from National Commission for Women for research work on Joginies and Government Approach
Marriage: On August 6th, 1989 with Prof. T. Sudha (now working as HOD, MCA Dept, VSU)
Children: Rohith (Studying B.Tech)
Favourite Place: Tirumala
Hobbies: Playing Shuttle
Others: Author of the book named “Empowerment of People”.
Suggestion to students: Don’t feel your educational Background is English Medium or Telugu Medium, one must acquire is hard working nature and the passion to learn. For this, Discipline is necessary.
