Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore – 1st year Practical Examinations for the students studying undergraduate courses in the Degree Colleges in SPSR Nellore District – Reg.

Meeting of the Principals of all the Degree colleges in SPSR Nellore District with the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar held in the Seminar Hall of this University at V.R. College campus on 11.02.2011.

I am to inform you that the practical examinations for the students studying Undergraduate courses in all the Degree Colleges located in S.P.S.R. Nellore district are to be conducted by this University.
In this connection, I am to inform that most of the colleges have not yet submitted the teaching staff particulars of their colleges, making it difficult for the University to appoint examiners for the 1st year practical examinations. Further as the practical examinations for the II and III year students in these colleges are being simultaneously conducted by S.V. University, there may be overlap between the examination schedules of this University and that of S.V. University in respect of some students and some subjects. In addition, this University is not yet fully aware of the laboratory facilities available in each of the colleges to send fool proof schedule for the 1st year Practical examinations for this year.
In view of the above disadvantages, and in continuation of the discussions held with the Principals of the Degree Colleges in SPSR Nellore vide reference cited, I am by direction to request you to kindly conduct the practical examinations for the 1st year students of your colleges as per the schedule of S.V. University. The services of the examiners already appointed by S.V. University shall be utilized for these practical examinations by appointing them on behalf of this University basing on the strength of the students appearing for the practical examinations. The examiners shall be requested to enter the marks awarded by them in the forms supplied by this University and the same shall be sent to this office for taking further action. The remuneration bills shall also be forwarded to this office, duly endorsed by you, for effecting payment.
I request you to kindly cooperate with the University and conduct the practical examinations to the 1st year students of your colleges as per the above procedure for the present academic year i.e., 2010-11.
