NBKR Institute of Science & Technology: Ecstatica - 2K11

March 27, 2011: A jubilant Cultural event, Ecstatica-2K11 was conducted at N.B.K.R.I.S.T., Vidyanagar with the at most grandeur. Prof. V. Narayana Reddy, Registrar of Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore witnessed the function by being present in the capacity of the Chief Guest. Addressing the students Dr. Reddy said that the students should improve their skills in extra cultural activities so that they can be employable efficiently. Further, he advised the students to utilize the opportunities emerging in Nellore. He advised the College Management to design the curriculum in such a way that the students can place and around Nellore which is emerging as the Industrial hub. Dr. K. Narapa Reddy introduce the Chief Guest, Principal P. Kiran Sree narrated the legacy and heritage of the Institute and advised the students of Final year to be equipped with soft skills so as to enable themselves to be well place in job market.
    The students from various colleges to part in that event with lot of enthusiasm. N.B.K.R.I.S.T., Vidyanagar Second Oldest Engineering College in A.P., started as early as in 1979 has been hosting this Mega Gala Event for the last one decade and it has been prove to be in appropriate platform for Engineering Students to exhibit their multi facilitate personalities. The event took place on 26th and 27th March 2011. It comprises of several cultural events which are conducted by various clubs of the Institute i.e., Dramatic Club, Music Club, Literary Club, IEEE Club, Painting Club.
 
    In this event more than 1000 students participated from various colleges and 400 students backed prizes. A hosting organization N.B.K.R.I.S.T. backed maximum prizes. Principal and HODs distribute the prizes to the winner of various events.
    This carnival has been well prized by the artists who officiated as judges in the event. It has provided lot of entertainment for the people of in and around Vidyanagar. All participants took part with heart full competitive spirit and lot of enthusiasm.
