Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for VSU Construction works

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will tour Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district on July 24 and 25 and participate in a series of programmes and meetings, said Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy.
The Minister reviewed the implementation of welfare schemes and progress of various development works with the officials concerned at Golden Jubilee Hall here on Saturday. He, along with Collector B. Sreedhar, Superintendent of Police B.V. Ramana Kumar and District Revenue Officer B.Rami Reddy reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister's tour.
The Minister said the Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for the Integrated Collectorate Complex, Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) administration building, class rooms, girls hostel, estimated at a cost of Rs.12.5 crore at its site in Kakuturu village.
He will distribute identity cards for tenant farmers and address a public meeting at Venkatagiri Raja College Grounds on July 24. Of the 34,000 applications received from the farmers, 29,965 ryots have been selected for issuing cards, said the minster. He will inaugurate the works for under drainage system, and unveil Babu Jagjeevan Ram and Y.S. Rajasekkara Reddy's statues in Nellore city.
