Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) College Development Council Dean and Director of Admissions Prof. T. Sudha received the A.P. State Best Teacher Award – 2011, at university level.
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy presented the award at a function held at Hyderabad, in connection with Teacher's Day on Monday.
Ms. Sudha, an MS in software systems and M.Phil and Ph.D in Computer Science, served as assistant and associate professor and in professor cadre in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati for 21 years. Prof. Sudha made 19 publications at international and national-level, and attended for 19 international and 14 national conferences. She produced seven doctorates in data mining, image processing and bio-metrics .
