G. Rajarami Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Vikram Simhapuri University, called upon the managements of affiliated colleges to encourage and create a dynamic environment for bringing out research potential among the present generation.
Addressing a meeting of the correspondents and the principals representing nearly 70 colleges, Prof. Rajarami Reddy said that before the technological changes overwhelmed the colleges, they should adopt right practices and methods to become highly competitive thereby giving a better scope for students. Prof. Reddy also called upon the colleges to have their own websites and post information in order that they take advantage of the faster modes of communication available in the current technology driven scenario. Prof. V. Narayana Reddy, Registrar, VSU, said that with the Vice-Chancellor's forthright vision the university will keep the same pace in achieving the 12(b) status and very soon the university will undertake construction process at the site allotted for it on the city outskirts.
M. Chandraiah, Dean, College Development Council (CDC), said that the colleges maintain academic discipline and proper conduct of the classes so that committed and focused students come for higher education.
