Welfare and Knowledge are to crown our progressive dynamics: VSU V-C
“The human facet of development is to be prioritized since the technological progress has to reach the grassroots level,” said Prof. G. Rajarami Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, Vikrama Simhapuri University on 63rd Republic Day celebrations on the University campus. Talking on the occasion, he said that inclusiveness in the development process will lead towards sustainability and self-reliance. The nation is now at the historic moment of transition adopting modern technology and reaching the masses with far-reaching progressive methods for their development, he said. Higher Education which is one of the decisive aspects of national construction and sustenance is also at its promising stages of yielding fruition and fulfillment for national glory, he said. The strength of the nation depends on the knowledge exploration and deliverance and such a progressive vision towards enablement will build the pride for the country, he said.
Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor hoisted the National Flag accompanied by the Registrar, Prof. V. Narayana Reddy, and the Principal Prof. M. Srinivasulu Reddy, amid the chant of the National Anthem. The members of faculty and students exchanged Republic Day wishes.
Blood Donation Camp organized by NSS Unit of the University
On the occasion, a Blood Donation Camp was organized in the Seminar Hall of the University. In the aftermath of the Republic Day Celebrations, Prof. G.Rajarami Reddy inaugurated the camp and Prof. V. Narayana Reddy, Registrar, accompanied him. 40 donors both from members of faculty and the students donated blood. The NSS unit of the University was organizing socially motivating activities regularly, said Dr. Ramesh Reddy, NSS Coordinator. Dr. Y. Vijaya, NSS Programme Officer was also present. Prof. M. Srinivasulu Reddy, Prinicipal, VSU College led from the front donating blood.
