UNIT-I
Social responsibility of business – importance of business law and regulatory practices – consumer protection act – consumer councils – redressals
UNIT-II
Law of contracts: Essential of valid contract – void and unlawful contracts – performance of contracts – special contracts: contingent contracts – indemnity, guarantee, bailment, agency contract
UNIT-III
Sale of Goods Act: sale and agreement to sell, conditions and warranties, ownership transfer
Negotiable Instrument  Act – Negotiable Instrument types – important features – negotiations – dishonor
UNIT-IV
Companies Act: Classification of companies – incorporation process – Memorandum, Articles, Prospectus, Shares and debentures, Board of Directors – Role, Functions, winding up.
