VSU announces PG exam results

Ninety seven percent of students passed in M.Sc (biotechnology) followed by 94.59 pass percentage was recorded in M.Sc (physics) under Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU). The examinations were conducted in May and June this year.
VSU Registrar V. Narayana Reddy and College Development Council Dean T. Sudha released the results in the university here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Reddy said the university conducted examinations for M.Sc mathematics, physics, zoology and biotechnology, L.L.B., B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The institution has released the results in a record time, he said and praised the examination branch staff for announcing the results in a short period.
The registrar said 86.67 percent students passed in zoology, 73.91 percentage of students were passed in mathematics. In B.Tech, 60.83 pass percentage was recorded, while it was 88.89 percent in M.Tech, he said.
Mr. Reddy said only 13.21 percent of students passed in L.L.B., and expressed concern over the poor pass percentage. VSU Examinations Coordinator Dr.Ch. Venkatrayalu, media coordinator K. Narasimha Rao, Examination Branch Superintendent P.M. Ranganadham, NBKR Institute of Science and Technology Director Dr. V.Vijay Kumar Reddy were also present.
