Sportsmen and women of Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) will compete with their counterparts at the All India Inter University Tournaments scheduled from September 27 onwards. Teams in various disciplines will play in the events to be held in different States.
The sports board of the university selected teams for Kho-Kho and Football events to be held at Pondicherry and Trivandrum. According to the in-charge Vice-Chancellor N.Prabhakara Rao, the management was providing the best of facilities and coaching for the players selected to represent the university in various tournaments. The sports board under the supervision of Registrar V. Narayana Reddy, board secretary M. Chandra Mohan, members C. Kondal Rao, M. Ravindra Babu and others selected the players. The VSU will be participating in the All India tournaments for first time.
