VSU Ph.D. students selected for National Eligibility Test

Two Ph.D. students of Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) – K. P. V. Subba Rao and B. Sreedhar -- secured 33rd and 39th ranks respectively in the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the Council of Scientific Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi.
The rankers were doing research in the Chemistry department in VSU under the guidance of assistant professors K. Venugopal Reddy and P. Triveni.
For the first time, Ph.D students of a new university have qualified for a national level test.
University in-charge vice-chancellor N. Prabhakara Rao, registrar V. Narayana Reddy, College Development Council Dean T. Sudha and other staff complimented the students for securing good ranks in the test.
VSU former vice-chancellor C. R. Visweswara Rao said the achievement of research scholars indicates the compatibility of Ph.D. entrance test organised by the varsity with the NET, and congratulated the researchers for qualifying for NET.
For the first time, Ph.D students of a new university have qualified for a national level test.
